BAM Niagara’s ‘Sweet Pea’ Wins Fight

Paulie “Sweet Pea” O’Sullivan (1-0) of B.A.M. Niagara Boxing Club reigns victorious after his first scheduled fight held at The Alpine Club of Kitchener last night, November 23rd, 2013.

Paulie 'Sweet Pea' O'Sullivan delivers a blow in Kitchener, Nov. 23 - bamniagara.caO’Sullivan’s opponent, Tyler Zeiden of Waterloo Regional Boxing Academy, gave him a good fight, going the full 3 rounds in this novice match-up.

Hosted by The Whip Boxing, the namesake of Fitz “The Whip” Vanderpool, Canadian professional boxer, this 13th Annual Charity Fundraiser was a great success with talented athletes, respectful coaches & a great crowd.

Irish-born O’Sullivan, 24, is trained by renowned boxing coach, James Phelps out of BAM Niagara Boxing Club in Niagara Falls, Canada.

An exciting performance of footwork, stiff, straight jabs and grit, “Sweet Pea” O’Sullivan delivered blows worthy of a few 8 counts in final rounds.

It looks like BAM Niagara & O’Sullivan will give the Niagara region bragging rights in the sport of boxing with this good start to Sweet Pea‘s undefeated record.
